Overview
Outlook remains where you create and manage the meeting. Once synced, Fynancial gives you another place to view the meeting, connect it to active contacts, and surface meeting details to clients in the app.
With the integration connected, you can:
View Outlook meetings you organize in the Outreach Calendar
Connect meeting attendees to active Fynancial contacts
Add or remove attendees from Fynancial or Outlook
Surface upcoming meetings and join links in the client app
Remove a meeting from Fynancial without deleting it from Outlook

Connect Your Office 365 Account
The Office 365 integration must first be enabled for your firm. If you do not see the integration, contact your Fynancial team.
Each advisor connects their own Office 365 account.
To connect:
Click your profile image.
Select Integrations.
Find Office 365 and click Connect.
Enter your Outlook credentials and follow the Microsoft prompts.
Once connected, eligible Outlook meetings will begin appearing in your Outreach Calendar.

Which Meetings Appear in Your Outreach Calendar?
Meetings must first be created in Outlook.
For an Outlook meeting to sync to your Outreach Calendar, you must be the organizer of the meeting.
Meetings where you are only an attendee do not sync through your Office 365 connection.
For synced meetings, Outlook remains the source of truth for:
Meeting date
Start time
End time
These details are read-only in Fynancial. To reschedule a meeting, make the change in Outlook.
â
What Can You Manage From the Outreach Calendar?
Add or Remove Attendees
You can add or remove attendees from either Outlook or the Outreach Calendar. Attendee changes sync between the two systems.
â
Fynancial identifies attendees based on your firmâs contacts:
Active Fynancial contacts are connected to their contact record.
Attendees who cannot be matched to an active contact appear as external attendees.
Email notifications related to attendee changes are sent from Outlook, even when you make the change from the Outreach Calendar.
â
What Will Clients See?
When an active client is included on a synced meeting, the meeting becomes part of their app experience.
Clients can:
See the meeting in Upcoming Events on the app homepage
View it on their Events page
Join the meeting directly from the app
Copy the meeting link when needed
You keep creating and managing the meeting in Outlook. Fynancial brings the meeting into the client app so they know whatâs coming and how to join.
â
Remove a Meeting From Fynancial or Cancel It Entirely
There are two different ways to remove a synced meeting, depending on what you want to happen.
â
Remove It From Fynancial Only
If you do not want a meeting to appear in the client app, remove it from the Outreach Calendar.
â
The meeting will no longer be visible in Fynancial, but it will remain on your Outlook calendar.
â
Use this when the meeting should stay on your calendar but does not need to be available to the client in the app.
Cancel or Delete the Meeting
If the meeting itself should be canceled or deleted, make that change in Outlook.
Deleting the meeting in Outlook also removes it from the Outreach Calendar.
â
Meetings That Require Attention
A synced meeting is marked Requires Attention when Fynancial cannot match any attendee to an active contact in your firm.
â
Use the Requires Attention filter in the Outreach Calendar to find these meetings.
The warning clears once at least one active Fynancial contact is added to the meeting.

Troubleshooting
My Outlook meeting isn't appearing in the Outreach Calendar.
Confirm that the meeting was created in Outlook and that you are the organizer. Meetings where you are only an attendee do not sync through your Office 365 connection.
My attendee is showing as an external attendee.
Fynancial could not match the attendee to an active contact in your firm.
My meeting says Requires Attention.
None of the attendees are currently recognized as active Fynancial contacts. Add at least one active contact to the meeting to clear the warning.
I can't change the meeting date or time in the Outreach Calendar.
Meeting scheduling is controlled by Outlook. Make changes to the date or time directly in Outlook.
I want to remove a meeting from Fynancial but keep it in Outlook.
Remove the meeting from the Outreach Calendar. The meeting will remain on your Outlook calendar.
I want to cancel the meeting completely.
Cancel or delete the meeting in Outlook. It will also be removed from the Outreach Calendar.
