Team Functionality Overview

The Team functionality within the Advisor Template enables collaboration among Secondary Advisors and other essential team members.

Each Advisor Template has a unique team assigned. Upon assignment to the Template, each Contact will automatically be assigned the defined Team. All team members can modify the template and engage with enrolled clients, ensuring a tailored, dynamic experience.

If desired, each individual Contact can be assigned a unique team.

How Teams Work:

  • The Primary Advisor oversees the Advisor Template, assigning actions/items in the Onboarding Journey and managing client enrollment.

  • Secondary Advisors/Team Members can access and edit the Template, communicate with clients, and manage tasks via the Schedule.

  • Teams provide flexibility by allowing multiple advisors to contribute while maintaining a clear hierarchy of responsibilities.

  • Team members can be updated, added, or removed by the Primary Advisor or other team members with appropriate permissions.

Team Use Cases:

  • Efficiently managing client relationships across a team.

  • Allowing support staff or co-advisors to contribute to client communication and task management.

  • Ensuring clients receive consistent, high-quality service from a coordinated team.


Primary vs. Secondary Advisors/Teams

Primary Advisor Permissions

  • Actions assigned in the Onboarding Journey will appear as coming ONLY from the Primary Advisor.

  • ONLY the Primary Advisor can change the Primary Advisor of the Template.

  • ONLY contacts assigned to the Primary Advisor can be enrolled in the Advisor Template.

  • Can individually message Contacts.

  • Can be part of group messages with individual Contacts.

  • Full edit access to all sections of the Advisor Template.

  • Can invite, add, or remove contacts from the Template.

  • Access to all communication tools in the Schedule for all assigned contacts. (e.g., posts, action items, messages).

  • Can remove Team members.

Secondary Advisor/Team Permissions

  • Can view any Advisor Templates to which they are assigned as a team member.

  • Full edit access to all sections of the Advisor Template.

  • Can invite, add, or remove contacts from the Template.

  • Can create Feed Posts for contacts enrolled the Advisor Template.

  • Full communication functionality (can send posts, messages, and action items to template/contacts via the Schedule).

  • Can individually message Contacts.

  • Can be part of group messages with individual Contacts.

  • Can remove Team members.


View and Update Team in Advisor Template

  1. Navigate to Templates in the Navigation Menu.

  2. Select your desired Advisor Template.

  3. Click Teams in the Top Menu.

  4. The Primary Advisor is denoted by a blue star.

  5. Add a Team Member or

  6. Remove a Team Member.

  7. Primary Advisors can update the Primary Advisor.

💡Tip: Admins create Advisor Templates and designate the Primary Advisor during the initial setup process.



Update Individual Contact Team

  1. Navigate to Contacts in the Navigation Menu.

  2. Use the search to find your desired Contact.

  3. Click the Contact's name to open the Contact Summary Page.

  4. Click Team in the Top Menu.

  5. Make desired updates to the Contact's Advisory Team.

⚠️ Caution: If you change the Primary Advisor, their experience will be removed. You'll need to assign them to a new Advisor Template that aligns with the new Primary Advisor.
