Contact Association Overview

The Contact Association Report gives admins and advisors a clear and customizable view of how contacts are linked to advisor templates across the firm.

By filtering by key fields like contact type, template name, advisor, and status, you can quickly identify gaps in template assignments, monitor advisor-client relationships, and track onboarding progress.

Whether you're auditing for consistency or preparing targeted outreach, this report helps ensure every contact is connected to the right experience at the right time.

This report can be exported.

To Access the Report (Admins + Advisors)

  1. Navigate to Reports in the Navigation Menu.

  2. Click Contact Association.

Contact Association Field Descriptions

Field

Description

Template Assigned

Filter by whether a contact has been assigned to an Advisor Template. "Yes" shows only contacts with a template. "No" shows contacts without a template.

Template Type

Filter by the type of template (Individual/Community) assigned.

Template Name

Search for contacts enrolled in a specific template by name. Helpful for checking who’s using a particular template or for auditing.

Contact Type

Filter by how a contact is categorized in the system. Common types include Client, Prospect, or Lead, and this helps you view contacts in the appropriate stage of their lifecycle.

Contact

This is useful for checking or updating a contact’s assigned template or primary advisor.

Primary Advisor

Filter contacts based on their assigned Primary Advisor, which is helpful for confirming experience ownership.

Status

Filter by the current status of the contact. Options include Active, Invited, Paused, or Inactive, and this helps track engagement and onboarding progress.

💡 Tip: Advisors will only see their own contacts in the Contact Association Report, ensuring privacy and relevance to their assignments.



Use Cases

Review Assigned Clients by Advisor

Easily see which clients a particular advisor is currently responsible for and confirm that each one is assigned to a template

Filters Used:

  • Template Assigned: Yes

  • Primary Advisor: [Advisor Name]

  • Contact Type: Client

  • Status: Active

Audit Contacts Without a Template Assigned

Identify gaps in contact onboarding—great for catching missed assignments for new prospects or leads who haven’t been fully set up yet.

Filters Used:

  • Template Assigned: No

  • Contact Type: Client or Prospect or Lead

Prospect Monitoring

Support staff or admins can use this report to monitor who hasn’t progressed through onboarding, helping decide if they need to resend invites or follow ups.

Filters Used:

  • Contact Type: Prospect/Lead

  • Status: Assigned/Invited
