Creating Cards

Cards are a flexible way to share information and actions with your clients in the app. They allow your firm to deliver content, links, and shortcuts efficiently while keeping the client experience consistent and personalized.

Cards appear in a carousel on the client home page, making it easy for clients to browse and take action.

Integration Cards, which pull data from connected platforms, are inserted by our team once all necessary connections are in place, ensuring clients see accurate, real-time information.

Where to Create Cards

Cards can be created in two locations:

  1. Card Manager: Navigate to Settings > Manage Cards > Add Card to create cards that are available for use in any template.

  2. Card Templates: Navigate to Settings > Card Templates > Create or Edit Template > Add Card to create cards that are only available within that specific template.


Types of Cards and How to Build Them

Custom Cards

Custom Cards share external links or URLs, such as third-party accounts, educational resources, financial calculators, or firm-branded content. Each card can be personalized for individual clients if needed.

How to Build a Custom Card

  1. Go to Settings > Manage Cards > Add Card or Settings > Card Templates > Create or Edit Template > Add Card.

  2. Select Custom Card as the card type.

  3. Enter a Card Name that clearly identifies its purpose.

  4. Add the URL or link you want to share.

  5. Add an image if desired.

  6. If the card should be user-specific, toggle the setting on. The card will then need to be customized on the Contact Summary Page for each client.

Shortcut Cards

Shortcut Cards provide quick access to in-app actions or modules, including direct messaging, viewing “My Team,” or other Fynancial tools. They help clients complete actions directly within the app.

How to Build a Shortcut Card

  1. Go to Settings > Manage Cards > Add Card or Settings > Card Templates > Create or Edit Template > Add Card.

  2. Select Shortcut Card as the card type.

  3. Enter a Card Name.

  4. Select the module or in-app action the card should link to.

  5. Add an image if desired.

  6. Save the card for use in templates or assign it directly to clients.

Dynamic Cards

Dynamic Cards display a single card that automatically pulls the correct advisor-specific link for each client, such as a scheduling URL, website URL, or secure upload URL. Set up once and assign to all contacts—clients always see the right link without duplicating cards.

How to Build a Dynamic Card

  1. Go to Settings > Manage Cards > Add Card or Settings > Card Templates > Create or Edit Template > Add Card.

  2. Select Dynamic Card as the card type.

  3. Enter a Card Name.

  4. Choose the link type (Scheduling URL, Website URL, or Secure Upload URL).

  5. Add an image if desired.

  6. Assign the card to clients or templates; the card will automatically display the correct advisor-specific link for each client.
