Overview

The Secure Files vault provides a safe, centralized location for clients and advisors to exchange important documents.

Contacts can upload files directly from the web or mobile app into their personal Secure Files vault, ensuring all shared materials remain protected and easy to access.

Files are encrypted, stored within the contact’s profile, and organized by folder for clarity. When files are shared or uploaded, advisor team members and clients can view them in real time, maintaining secure and efficient document management.


How Contacts Upload to their Secure File Vault – App

  1. Open the App and tap Profile in the bottom menu.

  2. Tap Secure Files.

  3. Navigate to the folder where you want to upload the file.

  4. Tap Add Files.

  5. Select the image or PDF you want to upload.

  6. The file is stored in your “My Documents” folder within the Secure Files vault and is accessible to you (and your advisor/team as appropriate)


How Contacts Upload to their Secure File Vault – Web

  1. Log in to the Web App on your desktop.

  2. Click Secure Files in the navigation menu.

  3. Click the Add File button.

  4. Select and upload your document or image.

  5. The file is stored in your “My Documents” folder within the Secure Files vault and is accessible to you (and your advisor/team as appropriate)


What Contacts See in their Secure Vault

  1. Files appear in their Secure Files vault, located in their app profile.

  2. The vault mirrors the folder structure created by the firm/advisor, helping clients quickly find what they need.

  3. Any files the Contact uploads will appear in the My Documents folder.


What Advisors See

Advisor + Team Push Notifications

Advisors and team members receive a push notification whenever a contact uploads a file to their Secure Files vault.

How to View a File Uploaded by a Contact (Web App)

  1. Go to Contacts in the Navigation Menu.

  2. Select the contact’s name to open their Contact Summary Page.

  3. Click Secure Files in the top menu.

  4. Open the “My Documents” folder to view or download any uploaded files.

How to View a File Uploaded by a Contact (Mobile App)

  1. Open your Advisor App.

  2. Search for and select the desired Contact.

  3. Tap the contact’s Name to open their Contact Summary Page.

  4. Tap Access Secure Files.

  5. Open the “My Documents” folder to view or download any uploaded files.

⚠️ Note: Advisors cannot upload documents from the mobile app; uploads must be done via the Web App.


Secure Vault File Size and Format Limits

  • Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, CSV — maximum 20 MB per file

  • Images: PNG, JPG, JPEG — maximum 10 MB per file

Files exceeding these limits cannot be uploaded to the Secure Files vault.

Where do my uploaded files go?
All files you upload go directly into your “My Documents” folder in the Secure Files vault.

Can I organize my files into folders?

Make sure your file type and size meet the limits and that you have a stable internet connection.
