Overview of Orion Integration
Fynancial empowers RIAs to connect with clients more effectively through their own personalized, branded app. The Fynancial app integrates traditional wealth management tools with contemporary social engagement features, revolutionizing how Advisors interact with their clients.
Fynancial’s Orion integration provides Cards that display your clients’ key performance metrics, including TWR, asset allocation, total asset value, and other essential data.
Establishing the Your Orion Connection
From the Admin Dashboard, click on the Profile Icon in the upper right corner to expand the menu.
Then select, Integrations.
On the Integrations Page, click ‘Connect’ on the Orion Integration Card.
After clicking Connect, you will be redirected to Orion to login to your account. Enter your email address and password. Then click Log In.
Once you have successfully logged into Orion, you will be asked to authorize Fynancial to have access to your Orion Data Stream. This access is required in order to capture the Risk Number from Orion. Click on Allow.
Once you have authorized Fynancial to have access, you will be redirected back to Fynancial where you will receive a Success Message notifying you that Orion has been connected successfully.
Note: When returning to the Integrations page, you should see an indicator that Orion is connected, and you will notice that the only option available on the Orion Integration Card is to Disconnect the integration:
Setting up Clients
Now that the connection has been established, it’s time to connect each of your clients’ profiles so that their Orion Integration Cards display within both mobile and web experiences.
To set up a new client, click on Contacts from the Advisor Backoffice.
Here you can either search for a contact or select one from the list by clicking on Actions > Edit next to the contact that you want to connect. You will then locate the Integrations section, find Orion and click on the toggle slider to activate the integration for the client.
Once you activate the Orion integration, you will be prompted to enter the Contact’s Orion ID. You can either enter it directly here, or you can click on the magnifying glass icon to search for the Contact’s Orion ID.
Clicking on the magnifying glass will give you the ability to search for the Orion ID using the Contact’s Name.
Once you have located the Contact’s Orion ID, click Select to associate it to the Contact’s Account.
Then click Save and the Orion ID will be associated with the account as shown below:
The connection is now complete and your client or prospect will now be able to see the Orion Integration Card displaying their key Performance metrics whenever they log into either the Mobile or Web Experiences.
